Kenmore Square Thai place ordered shut because of kitchen sinks backing up through a floor drain

UPDATE: Thai Dish passed a re-inspection on July 8 and can re-open.

A city health inspector this week ordered Thai Dish, 636 Beacon St., shut until the owners fix a couple of problems. One is that:

Staff unable to wash hands properly due to the floor drain backing up into the main kitchen area whenever sink are operating.

Plus, even if they could use it, the hot water doesn't work.

Also, there's nobody on staff properly trained in safe food-handling techniques.

The restaurant can re-open once a re-inspection shows the problems have been fixed.
