Raw sewage in basement shuts Kenmore Square McDonald's

A Boston health inspector yesterday shut the McDonald's at 540 Commonwealth Ave. because of a broken sewage drain that left the restaurant's basement covered in the sort of liquid that would pour out of a sewage pipe at a busy burger joint.

The restaurant can re-open after cleaning and sanitizing the storage room - and after its managers figure out that you can't keep operating a restaurant while raw sewage is flowing onto the floor:

Establishment continued to operate with raw sewage backup in basement storage room and no access to toilets for all McDonald's workers.
